Some changes we made to Mountain Laurel Environmental’s new website include:

* Client wanted to keep his company’s well established logo, so we gave the existing logo a fresh feel by selecting a unique font, adding a drop-shadow, and placing it on top of a dark color background to make it stand out.

* Designed a wide screen, contemporary look and feel for the site, using colors and graphics appropriate for the environmental theme of the company, while still keeping all main content within the center of the screen for easy viewing on all size monitors and devices.

* Created large, visually pleasing graphic headings to draw attention to the content of each page.

* Designed graphically pleasing rollover buttons for each page.

* Resized and retouched all photos, adding drop shadows, and other effects to give the photo content a more appealing and contemporary look.

* Incorporated unique leaves graphic in a variety of ways to add visual interest to the site and stay true to the environmental theme of the company.

* Selected a visually pleasing, yet easy to read font that is commonly available on all computers and browsers. Designed new text layout in a more easy-to-read and visually pleasing manner.

* Included “live” text of all company contact information on the bottom of every page so visitors can quick-dial or email directly from their phones, etc.
